Snow Day

“Once a king or queen of Narnia, always a king or queen of Narnia.”  ― C.S. Lewis, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

Towards the end of February (seriously, one day after this session), we got a ton of snow! Our girls were super excited so I took them outside to play in it.

“Some journeys take us far from home. Some adventures lead us to our destiny.”

We’ve been reading the different Narnia books to our girls lately and recently finished up The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. After I went through our snow photos, I thought about how they almost looked like a scene out of Narnia.

The girls had a wonderful time throwing snowballs at each other and at me. They loved learning how to make snow angels and had fun trying to build a snowman with me.

Luckily, the snow melted after just a couple of days, but I’m so glad we got to get outside to play in it while it lasted.

“And so for a time it looked as if all the adventures were coming to and end; but that was not to be.”
