Back in October, I had the opportunity to photograph my good friend’s wedding in Monaco.
Madison and I met back when we both lived in San Clemente, California and I was so excited to see her again and to meet her very soon-to-be husband, Christian, and their adorable baby boy, Phoenix.
Of course getting to Monaco from Paris ended up being quite the adventure. I flew into Nice the morning of the wedding during a terrible rainstorm and then boarded the direct bus to Monaco and my hotel in Monte Carlo.
Luckily, I still got there early enough to chat with and take a few photos of Madison getting ready while also meeting her wonderful family and in-laws.
Madison and Christian stayed at the fabulous Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo. It’s in a stunning location and perfect for a wedding.
After Madison was ready, we headed down to the hotel lobby and met up with Christian to get some portraits of the bride and groom.
We took a taxi and headed over to this fun, giant picture frame that had beautiful views of the port below. Lucky for us, the rainstorm had more or less stopped and we were able to get some great photos.
Afterwards, we headed back to the hotel for a few more photos.
Ok… we took A LOT more photos… 🙂
The wedding was in the evening and everything was just perfect.
Afterwards, we got some photos of the family before settling down for the best dinner I’ve ever had.
Some nice moments from dinner…
Madison and Christian’s wedding was amazing. Thank you both for having me there as your friend and photographer and congratulations again!
